What’s more, standing in queues for 30 minutes can torch upwards of 50 kcal.
Staggeringly, a Debenhams study found that the average woman drops 48,000 calories each year by going shopping.

According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, your body will burn 7 calories converting a 250ml glass of ice cold water to body temperature.
If you were to drink 10 ice cold glasses a day for a week, you’d torch an extra 490 calories per week.
And after a year you’d end up slimming down by a whopping 7lbs, just by drinking water.
