Les Dames Offer Free Instructional Online Seminar - Nashville Scene
Three successful local entrepreneurs to speak on 'Launching Your Food Business'
In the third installment of their online “Sustain and Flourish in Adversity” educational series, Les Dames d’Escoffier (LDEI) Nashville are offering a free presentation this Friday, June 18, titled “Launching Your Food Business.” The seminar seeks to allay some of the fears associated with opening a new operation after an especially tough year for hospitality entrepreneurs.
Dropping knowledge bombs will be three notable Nashville business owners, each of whom has a unique perspective on the industry. LDEI members Cordia Harrington (founder and CEO at The Bakery Cos.), Carey Aron (founder and president of The Pasta Shoppe) and Bailey Spaulding (CEO and founder of Jackalope Brewing Company) will offer insights as part of the free one-hour Zoom session. Local food writer (and frequent Scene contributor) Jennifer Justus of the Nashville Food Project will moderate the discussion and provide an opportunity to ask questions with the panelists. Takeaway materials will be provided to each attendee, and a recap of each session will be made available as a podcast courtesy of Nashville Restaurant Radio.
