Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Restaurant Is Returning As A Pop-Up - Delish

If you used to dream about making it to Anthony Bourdain's former Manhattan restaurant Brasserie Les Halles, this summer will allow you to make it a reality. Though the popular dining spot closed in 2017, those who are fans of the iconic restaurant will be able to enjoy a special menu one more time this summer. The tickets, however, won't come cheap.

Created by Focus Features and Resy, the new pop-up brasserie will run from July 9 to July 11 and is part of the new documentary Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain. Though it's considered a pop-up, the return of Les Halles will be at its original Park Avenue South location and includes input from its former owners, Philippe Lajaunie and Jose de Meirelles.

If you're lucky enough to score tickets to the exclusive and limited return of the restaurant—which officially go on sale June 24—you can expect a prix fixe menu fit for royalty. Priced at $95, the menu will include a French onion soup, steak frites with au poivre sauce, and a decadent dessert that hasn't been listed yet. American Express card holders can get their hands on tickets for one (or all!) of the three-day pop-up experience a few days earlier on June 22.

Bourdain was the executive chef of Les Halles in 1998, and even after he rose to fame, kept a close relationship with the restaurant and its owners.
