Police arrest NYPD custodian for beating girlfriend in LES - RADIO.COM
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested an off-duty NYPD custodial assistant early Thursday accused of beating his girlfriend with a crowbar.
According to police, 40-year-old Rhamell Davis, attacked his 33-year-old girlfriend and then took her cellphone then threatened her with a knife during an argument in their Lower East Side apartment.
She was not seriously injures, officials said.
Shortly after midnight, Davis was arested at home and faces multiple charges including robbery, assault, harassment, and unlawful transfer assault weapon.
