BYU Announces CougarTail Drive-Through At LES On Day Of Houston Game - KSL Sports
PROVO, Utah – When everyone is seeking normalcy, is there anything more normal for a BYU fan than a CougarTail while watching a BYU football game?
For Cougar fans looking to enjoy some BYU football with their favorite game day treat, they’ll have that opportunity this Friday, October 16th.
BYU Food To Go is holding a one-day CougarTail drive-through on the west side of LaVell Edwards Stadium parking lot.
Fans looking to purchase a CougarTail can order their donuts at cougartails.byu.edu, and there they’ll be able to select a pick-up time between the hours of 9 am-1 pm (MT) on Friday at LES.
The minimum number of CougarTails required to purchase in your order is two, but you can go all the way up to 200 CougarTails in case you need to stock up for the remainder of the football season.
Popcorn and bottles of chocolate milk are also available to pick up on Friday when BYU takes on Houston down in Texas.
CougarTails are one of the top specialty concession items in college sports concessions. BYU fans haven’t been able to enjoy a CougarTail on game days until this week due to COVID-19 mandates or the city of Provo. Those mandates led to BYU’s athletic department making the difficult decision to have no fans in attendance for the first three home games.
BYU’s next home game is on October 24th against Texas State; no official word has been given yet on the number of fans allowed at that game.
Back in May, BYU held a CougarTail Drive-Through during their Virtual Fan Fest. BYU Food To Go sold 6,000 CougarTails and 2,300 bottles of chocolate milk during that event.
