Weight loss diet: Mix apple cider vinegar with THIS to create a belly fat busting meal

Apple cider vinegar has been proven in a number of studies to hold a host of health benefits - one of these being weight loss. 

Its main component is acetic acid which holds various benefits for fat loss. 

Several studies have shown it helps lower blood sugar levels, improving the ability of the liver and muscles to take up sugar from the blood, and decreases insulin levels which might favour fat burning. 

Improving metabolism, reducing fat storage, burning fat and suppressing appetite are some of the other ways apple cider vinegar has been found to aid weight loss. 

But its sharp taste, like other vinegars, can be hard for some people to stomach. 

So how can you incorporate apple cider vinegar into your diet if you hate the taste of it neat? 

An easy method is to mix it with olive oil and use it as a salad dressing - a suggestion by Health Line. 

If this doesn’t take your fancy you could also try pickling vegetables in apple cider vinegar to add as a side to meals. 

Health Line also offers a basic ‘health drink’ recipe on its site: 

  • One to two tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • Eight ounces of purified or distilled water 
  • One to two tablespoons of sweetener (organic honey, maple syrup or four drops of Stevia)

With an apple cider vinegar detox, you consume this type of drink regularly for a set period of time - several days to a month or more. 

Many people choose to consume it three times each day - when they wake up, mid-morning and again mid-afternoon. 

If you do choose to consume it in its pure form its acidic can erode tooth enamel or even born your mouth and throat. 

So its recommended you consume any apple cider vinegar drinks through a straw
